'Diligence' in the Bible

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

but I will use diligence, that after my departure ye should have also, at any time, in your power to call to mind these things.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.
