'Diminished' in the Bible

When they are diminished and bowed downThrough oppression, misery and sorrow,

‘From them will proceed thanksgivingAnd the voice of those who celebrate;And I will multiply them and they will not be diminished;I will also honor them and they will not be insignificant.

Behold now, I have stretched out My hand against you and diminished your rations. And I delivered you up to the desire of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of your lewd conduct.
