'Directed' in the Bible

and saith to him, 'See thou mayest say nothing to any one, but go away, thyself shew to the priest, and bring near for thy cleansing the things Moses directed, for a testimony to them.'

but He gave strict injunctions that the matter should not be made known, and directed them to give her something to eat.

Then he directed them all to sit down in groups on the green grass.

They replied to them just as Jesus had directed, and they allowed them to go.
