'Drought' in the Bible

They stopped asking, “Where is the Lordwho brought us from the land of Egypt,who led us through the wilderness,through a land of deserts and ravines,through a land of drought and darkness,a land no one traveled throughand where no one lived?”

The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought:

He will be like a tree planted by water:it sends its roots out toward a stream,it doesn’t fear when heat comes,and its foliage remains green.It will not worry in a year of droughtor cease producing fruit.

A drought will come on her waters,and they will be dried up.For it is a land of carved images,and they go mad because of terrifying things.
