'Eagle' in the Bible
The form of each of their faces was that of a man, and each of the four had the face of a lion on the right, the face of an ox on the left, and the face of an eagle.
Each one had four faces: the first face was that of a cherub, the second that of a man, the third that of a lion, and the fourth that of an eagle.
You are to say: This is what the Lord God says:A great eagle with great wings, long pinions, and full plumage of many colorscame to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.
But there was another great eaglewith great wings and thick plumage. And this vine bent its roots toward him!It stretched out its branches to himfrom its planting bed,so that he might water it.
