'Earth' in the Bible

But the wicked will be cut off from the landAnd the treacherous shall be [forcibly] uprooted and removed from it.

The Lord by His wisdom has founded the earth;By His understanding He has established the heavens.

“By me princes rule, and nobles,All who judge and govern rightly.

“From everlasting I was established and ordained,From the beginning, before the earth existed, [I, godly wisdom, existed].

While He had not yet made the earth and the fields,Or the first of the dust of the earth.

When He set for the sea its boundarySo that the waters would not transgress [the boundaries set by] His command,When He marked out the foundations of the earth—

Rejoicing in the world, His inhabited earth,And having my delight in the sons of men.

The [consistently] righteous will never be shaken,But the wicked will not inhabit the earth.

If the righteous will be rewarded on the earth [with godly blessings],How much more [will] the wicked and the sinner [be repaid with punishment]!

[Skillful and godly] wisdom is in the presence of a person of understanding [and he recognizes it],But the eyes of a [thickheaded] fool are on the ends of the earth.

As the heavens for height and the earth for depth,So the hearts and minds of kings are unsearchable.

Who has ascended into heaven and descended?Who has gathered the wind in His fists?Who has bound the waters in His garment?Who has established all the ends of the earth?What is His name, and what is His Son’s name?Certainly you know!

There is a generation (class of people) whose teeth are like swordsAnd whose jaw teeth are like knives,To devour the afflicted from the earthAnd the needy from among men.

Sheol, and the barren womb,Earth that is never satisfied with water,And fire that never says, “It is enough.”

Under three things the earth is disquieted and quakes,And under four it cannot bear up:
