'Eluded' in the Bible

Then Saul hurled the spear and thought, "{I will pin David to the wall}." But David eluded him twice.

and Saul tried to pin David to the wall with the spear. As the spear struck the wall, David eluded Saul, ran away, and escaped that night.

Then they were trying again to seize Him, yet He eluded their grasp.
