'Faint' in the Bible
Where will you be stricken again,As you continue in your rebellion? The whole head is sickAnd the whole heart is faint.
It will be as when a hungry man dreams—And behold, he is eating; But when he awakens, his hunger is not satisfied,Or as when a thirsty man dreams—And behold, he is drinking,But when he awakens, behold, he is faintAnd his thirst is not quenched. Thus the multitude of all the nations will beWho wage war against Mount Zion.
“You were tired out by the length of your road,Yet you did not say, ‘It is hopeless.’You found renewed strength,Therefore you did not faint.
“For I will not contend forever,Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would grow faint before Me,And the breath of those whom I have made.
