'Fields' in the Bible
Your land is desolate,Your cities are burned with fire,Your fields—strangers are devouring them in your presence;It is desolation, as overthrown by strangers.
For the fields of Heshbon have withered, the vines of Sibmah as well;The lords of the nations have trampled down its choice clustersWhich reached as far as Jazer and wandered to the deserts;Its tendrils spread themselves out and passed over the sea.
The bulrushes by the Nile, by the edge of the NileAnd all the sown fields by the NileWill become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
