'Floodwaters' in the Bible

I am about to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy from under the sky all the living creatures that have the breath of life in them. Everything that is on the earth will die,

Noah was 600 years old when the floodwaters engulfed the earth.

Noah entered the ark along with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives because of the floodwaters.

And after seven days the floodwaters engulfed the earth.

Surging waters cannot quench love; floodwaters cannot overflow it. If someone were to offer all his possessions to buy love, the offer would be utterly despised.

I will make justice the measuring line, fairness the plumb line; hail will sweep away the unreliable refuge, the floodwaters will overwhelm the hiding place.
