'Floodwaters' in the Bible

“Understand that I am bringing a flood—floodwaters on the earth to destroy every creature under heaven with the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will die.

Noah was 600 years old when the floodwaters engulfed the earth.

Noah entered the ark along with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives because of the floodwaters.

And after seven days the floodwaters engulfed the earth.

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to Youat a time that You may be found.When great floodwaters come,they will not reach him.

Don’t let the floodwaters sweep over meor the deep swallow me up;don’t let the Pit close its mouth over me.

Surging waters cannot quench love; floodwaters cannot overflow it. If someone were to offer all his possessions to buy love, the offer would be utterly despised.

And this shall happen: on that day, Yahweh will thresh from the floodwaters of the Euphrates to the wadi of Egypt, and [as for] you, you will be gathered one by one, sons of Israel.

I will make justice the measuring line, fairness the plumb line; hail will sweep away the unreliable refuge, the floodwaters will overwhelm the hiding place.
