'Fool's' in the Bible
The [arrogant] fool’s anger is quickly known [because he lacks self-control and common sense],But a prudent man ignores an insult.
In the mouth of the [arrogant] fool [who rejects God] is a rod for his back,But the lips of the wise [when they speak with godly wisdom] will protect them.
A fool’s lips bring contention and strife,And his mouth invites a beating.
A fool’s mouth is his ruin,And his lips are the snare of his soul.
Stone is heavy and the sand weighty,But a fool’s [unreasonable] wrath is heavier and more burdensome than both of them.
For the dream comes through much effort, and the voice of the fool through many words.
A wise man’s heart turns him toward the right [which is the way of blessing], but a fool’s heart turns him toward the left [which is the way of condemnation].
