'Friend' in the Bible

who does not slander with his tongue,who does not harm his friendor discredit his neighbor,

I went about grieving as if for my friend or brother;I was bowed down with grief,like one mourning a mother.

Even my friend in whom I trusted,one who ate my bread,has raised his heel against me.

But it is you, a man who is my peer,my companion and good friend!

You have distanced loved one and neighbor from me;darkness is my only friend.

I am a friend to all who fear You,to those who keep Your precepts.
