'Grating' in the Bible
And thou shalt make for it a grating of network of copper; and on the net shalt thou make four copper rings at its four corners;
the altar of burnt-offering, and the copper grating for it, its staves, and all its utensils; the laver and its stand;
And he made for the altar a grating of network of copper under its ledge from beneath, to the very middle of it.
And he cast four rings for the four corners of the grating of copper, as receptacles for the staves.
And he made with it the bases for the entrance of the tent of meeting, and the copper altar, and the copper grating for it, and all the utensils of the altar.

He made the pillars with two encircling rows of pomegranates on the one grating to cover the capital on top; he did the same for the second capital.
The capitals on the two pillars were also immediately above the rounded surface next to the grating, and 200 pomegranates were in rows encircling each capital.

One pillar was 27 feet tall and had a bronze capital on top of it. The capital, encircled by a grating and pomegranates of bronze, stood five feet high. The second pillar was the same, with its own grating.
