'Greedy' in the Bible

For the wicked boasts and sings the praises of his heart’s desire,And the greedy man curses and spurns [and even despises] the Lord.

He is like a lion eager to tear [his prey],And like a young lion lurking in hiding places.

Oh, do not hand over the soul of your turtledove to the wild beast;Do not forget the life of Your afflicted forever.
