'Honor' in the Bible

Then the Lord said,“Because this people draw near with their wordsAnd honor Me with their lip service,But they remove their hearts far from Me,And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote,

“This one will say, ‘I am the Lord’s’;And that one will call on the name of Jacob;And another will write on his hand, ‘Belonging to the Lord,’And will name Israel’s name with honor.

“For the sake of Jacob My servant,And Israel My chosen one,I have also called you by your name;I have given you a title of honorThough you have not known Me.

“If because of the sabbath, you turn your footFrom doing your own pleasure on My holy day,And call the sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable,And honor it, desisting from your own ways,From seeking your own pleasureAnd speaking your own word,
