'Keep' in the Bible

You, O Lord, will keep them;You will preserve him from this generation forever.

Keep me as the apple of the eye;Hide me in the shadow of Your wings

Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins;Let them not rule over me;Then I will be blameless,And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.

All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship,All those who go down to the dust will bow before Him,Even he who cannot keep his soul alive.

All the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and truthTo those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man;You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.

To deliver their soul from deathAnd to keep them alive in famine.

Keep your tongue from evilAnd your lips from speaking deceit.

You have seen it, O Lord, do not keep silent;O Lord, do not be far from me.

Wait for the Lord and keep His way,And He will exalt you to inherit the land;When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

The Lord will protect him and keep him alive,And he shall be called blessed upon the earth;And do not give him over to the desire of his enemies.

May our God come and not keep silence;Fire devours before Him,And it is very tempestuous around Him.

He rules by His might forever;His eyes keep watch on the nations;Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

That they should put their confidence in GodAnd not forget the works of God,But keep His commandments,

They did not keep the covenant of GodAnd refused to walk in His law;

Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High GodAnd did not keep His testimonies,

“My lovingkindness I will keep for him forever,And My covenant shall be confirmed to him.

If they violate My statutesAnd do not keep My commandments,

He will not always strive with us,Nor will He keep His anger forever.

To those who keep His covenantAnd remember His precepts to do them.

So that they might keep His statutesAnd observe His laws,Praise the Lord!

How blessed are those who keep justice,Who practice righteousness at all times!

You have ordained Your precepts,That we should keep them diligently.

Oh that my ways may be establishedTo keep Your statutes!

I shall keep Your statutes;Do not forsake me utterly!

Beth.How can a young man keep his way pure?By keeping it according to Your word.

Gimel.Deal bountifully with Your servant,That I may live and keep Your word.

Give me understanding, that I may observe Your lawAnd keep it with all my heart.

So I will keep Your law continually,Forever and ever.

O Lord, I remember Your name in the night,And keep Your law.

“If your sons will keep My covenantAnd My testimony which I will teach them,Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forever.”

Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked;Preserve me from violent menWho have purposed to trip up my feet.

Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth;Keep watch over the door of my lips.

Keep me from the jaws of the trap which they have set for me,And from the snares of those who do iniquity.
