'Kings' in the Bible

The kings of the earth take their standAnd the rulers take counsel togetherAgainst the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;Take warning, O judges of the earth.

Kings’ daughters are among Your noble ladies;At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.

For, lo, the kings assembled themselves,They passed by together.

“Kings of armies flee, they flee,And she who remains at home will divide the spoil!”

When the Almighty scattered the kings there,It was snowing in Zalmon.

Because of Your temple at JerusalemKings will bring gifts to You.

Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents;The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.

And let all kings bow down before him,All nations serve him.

He will cut off the spirit of princes;He is feared by the kings of the earth.

“I also shall make him My firstborn,The highest of the kings of the earth.

So the nations will fear the name of the LordAnd all the kings of the earth Your glory.

He permitted no man to oppress them,And He reproved kings for their sakes:

Their land swarmed with frogsEven in the chambers of their kings.

The Lord is at Your right hand;He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath.

I will also speak of Your testimonies before kingsAnd shall not be ashamed.

He smote many nationsAnd slew mighty kings,

To Him who smote great kings,For His lovingkindness is everlasting,

And slew mighty kings,For His lovingkindness is everlasting:

All the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, O Lord,When they have heard the words of Your mouth.

Who gives salvation to kings,Who rescues David His servant from the evil sword.

Kings of the earth and all peoples;Princes and all judges of the earth;

To bind their kings with chainsAnd their nobles with fetters of iron,
