'Kings' in the Bible

The kings of the earth take their stand,and the rulers conspire togetheragainst the Lord and His Anointed One:

So now, kings, be wise;receive instruction, you judges of the earth.

Kings’ daughters are among your honored women;the queen, adorned with gold from Ophir,stands at your right hand.

Look! The kings assembled;they advanced together.

“The kings of the armies flee—they flee!”She who stays at home divides the spoil.

When the Almighty scattered kings in the land,it snowed on Zalmon.

Because of Your temple at Jerusalem,kings will bring tribute to You.

May the kings of Tarshishand the coasts and islands bring tribute,the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.

Let all kings bow down to him,all nations serve him.

He humbles the spirit of leaders;He is feared by the kings of the earth.

I will also make him My firstborn,greatest of the kings of the earth.

Then the nations will fear the name of Yahweh,and all the kings of the earth Your glory,

He allowed no one to oppress them;He rebuked kings on their behalf:

Their land was overrun with frogs,even in their royal chambers.

The Lord is at Your right hand;He will crush kings on the day of His anger.

I will speak of Your decrees before kingsand not be ashamed.

He struck down many nationsand slaughtered mighty kings:

Sihon king of the Amorites,Og king of Bashan,and all the kings of Canaan.

He struck down great kings        His love is eternal.

and slaughtered famous kings—        His love is eternal.

All the kings on earth will give You thanks, Lord,when they hear what You have promised.

the One who gives victory to kings,who frees His servant Davidfrom the deadly sword.

kings of the earth and all peoples,princes and all judges of the earth,

binding their kings with chainsand their dignitaries with iron shackles,
