'Leader' in the Bible
And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the leaders of Judah:because out of you will come a leaderwho will shepherd My people Israel.”
But when Jesus overheard what was said, He told the synagogue leader, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe.”
Just then, a man named Jairus came. He was a leader of the synagogue. He fell down at Jesus’ feet and pleaded with Him to come to his house,
But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, responded by telling the crowd, “There are six days when work should be done; therefore come on those days and be healed and not on the Sabbath day.”
Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, believed the Lord, along with his whole household. Many of the Corinthians, when they heard, believed and were baptized.
Then they all seized Sosthenes, the leader of the synagogue, and beat him in front of the judge’s bench. But none of these things concerned Gallio.
