'Lights' in the Bible

"No one lights a lamp and hides it under a bowl or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a lamp stand so that those who come in will see the light.

“No one lights a lamp and puts it in the cellar or under a basket, but on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see its light.

If therefore thy whole body is light, not having any part dark, it shall be all light as when the lamp lights thee with its brightness.

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

"Or suppose a woman has ten coins and loses one of them. She lights a lamp, sweeps the house, and searches carefully until she finds it, doesn't she?

For as the lightning flashes from horizon to horizon and lights up the sky, so the Son of Man will be in His day.
