'Measure' in the Bible
Therefore Sheol has enlarged its throat and opened its mouth without measure;And Jerusalem’s splendor, her multitude, her din of revelry and the jubilant within her, descend into it.
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand,And marked off the heavens by the span,And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure,And weighed the mountains in a balanceAnd the hills in a pair of scales?
“But these two things will come on you suddenly in one day:Loss of children and widowhood.They will come on you in full measureIn spite of your many sorceries,In spite of the great power of your spells.
