'Net' in the Bible

The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made;In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.

He lurks in a hiding place as a lion in his lair;He lurks to catch the afflicted;He catches the afflicted when he draws him into his net.

My eyes are continually toward the Lord,For He will pluck my feet out of the net.

You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me,For You are my strength.

For without cause they hid their net for me;Without cause they dug a pit for my soul.

Let destruction come upon him unawares,And let the net which he hid catch himself;Into that very destruction let him fall.

They have prepared a net for my steps;My soul is bowed down;They dug a pit before me;They themselves have fallen into the midst of it. Selah.

You brought us into the net;You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins.

The proud have hidden a trap for me, and cords;They have spread a net by the wayside;They have set snares for me. Selah.
