'Ox' in the Bible
The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s feeding trough, but Israel does not know;My people do not understand.”
The cow and the bear will graze, their young ones will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
Those who sow seed are happybeside abundant waters;they let ox and donkey range freely.
The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox,but the serpent’s food will be dust! They will not do what is evil or destroyon My entire holy mountain,”says the Lord.
One slaughters an ox, one kills a man;one sacrifices a lamb, one breaks a dog’s neck;one offers a grain offering, one offers pig’s blood;one offers incense, one praises an idol—all these have chosen their waysand delight in their detestable practices.
