'Passes' in the Bible

The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea,Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

Let them be as a snail which melts away (secretes slime) as it goes along,Like the miscarriage of a woman which never sees the sun.

For the wind passes over it and it is no more,And its place knows it no longer.

Man is like a mere breath;His days are like a shadow that passes away.
