'Persecute' in the Bible

Then the LORD your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate and persecute you."

LORD, my God, I seek refuge in you. Deliver me from those who persecute me! Rescue me!

For they persecute those whom you have struck, and they brag about the pain of those you have wounded.
