'Places' in the Bible

He sits in the lurking places of the villages;In the hiding places he kills the innocent;His eyes stealthily watch for the unfortunate.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.

He is like a lion that is eager to tear,And as a young lion lurking in hiding places.

He makes my feet like hinds’ feet,And sets me upon my high places.

Surely You set them in slippery places;You cast them down to destruction.

They said in their heart, “Let us completely subdue them.”They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.

Consider the covenant;For the dark places of the land are full of the habitations of violence.

For they provoked Him with their high placesAnd aroused His jealousy with their graven images.

You have put me in the lowest pit,In dark places, in the depths.
