'Plane' in the Bible

Then Jacob took branches of fresh poplar and almond and plane trees, and peeled white stripes in them, exposing the white in the branches.

“I will put the cedar in the wilderness,The acacia, the myrtle and the olive tree;I will place the juniper in the desertTogether with the box tree and the cypress,

“The glory of Lebanon will come to you,The cypress, the juniper, and the cedar together,To beautify the place of My sanctuary;And I will honor and make the place of My feet glorious.

‘The cedars in the garden of God could not hide or rival it;The cypress trees did not have boughs like it,And the plane trees did not have branches like it.No tree in the garden of God was like it in its beauty.
