'Plowed' in the Bible
On the seventh day, before sunset, the men of the city said to him:What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?So he said to them:If you hadn’t plowed with my young cow,you wouldn’t know my riddle now!
Plowmen plowed over my back;they made their furrows long.
“Micah the Moreshite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah and said to all the people of Judah, ‘This is what the Lord of Hosts says:Zion will be plowed like a field,Jerusalem will become ruins, and the temple mount a forested hill.’
You have plowed wickedness and reaped injustice;you have eaten the fruit of lies.Because you have trusted in your own wayand in your large number of soldiers,
Therefore, because of you,Zion will be plowed like a field,Jerusalem will become ruins, and the hill of the temple mountwill be a thicket.
