'Possessions' in the Bible
Give to everyone who asks you, and do not ask for your possessions back from the person who takes them away.
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his possessions are safe.
Then he said to them, "Watch out and guard yourself from all types of greed, because one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide yourselves purses that do not wear out -- a treasure in heaven that never decreases, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.
I tell you the truth, the master will put him in charge of all his possessions.
In the same way therefore not one of you can be my disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.
But Zacchaeus stopped and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, half of my possessions I now give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I am paying back four times as much!"
