'Proverb' in the Bible
As the old proverb says, ‘Wickedness comes from wicked people.’ My hand will never be against you.
I turn my ear to a proverb;I explain my riddle with a lyre.
for understanding a proverb or a parable,the words of the wise, and their riddles.
A proverb in the mouth of a foolis like lame legs that hang limp.

Then He said to them, “No doubt you will quote this proverb to Me: ‘Doctor, heal yourself. So all we’ve heard that took place in Capernaum, do here in Your hometown also.’”
It has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to its own vomit, and, “a sow, after washing itself, wallows in the mud.”
