'Remembrance' in the Bible

For in death there is no mention of You;In Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead) who will praise You and give You thanks?

Sing to the Lord, O you His godly ones,And give thanks at the mention of His holy name.

The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,To cut off the memory of them from the earth.

I will remember my song in the night;I will meditate with my heart,And my spirit searches:

They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation;Let the name of Israel be remembered no more.”

Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous ones [those whose moral and spiritual integrity places them in right standing with God],And praise and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

He will never be shaken;The righteous will be remembered forever.
