'Roar' in the Bible

Suddenly, a sound like the roar of a mighty windstorm came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

No sooner, however, did they see that he was a Jew, than there arose from them all one roar of shouting, lasting about two hours. "Great is the Ephesian Diana," they said.

Until they heard this last statement the people listened to Paul, but now with a roar of disapproval they cried out, "Away with such a fellow from the earth! He ought not to be allowed to live."
