'Rocks' in the Bible

“As I see him from the top of the rocks,And I look at him from the hills;Behold, a people who dwells apart,And will not be reckoned among the nations.

Then Saul took three thousand chosen men from all Israel and went to seek David and his men in front of the Rocks of the Wild Goats.

So He said, “Go forth and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

“Its rocks are the source of sapphires,And its dust contains gold.

“He hews out channels through the rocks,And his eye sees anything precious.

So that they dwell in dreadful valleys,In holes of the earth and of the rocks.

He split the rocks in the wildernessAnd gave them abundant drink like the ocean depths.

The shephanim are not mighty people,Yet they make their houses in the rocks;

Men will go into caves of the rocksAnd into holes of the groundBefore the terror of the LordAnd the splendor of His majesty,When He arises to make the earth tremble.
