'Rod' in the Bible

‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I fear no evil, for You are with me;Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Then I will punish their transgression with the rodAnd their iniquity with stripes.
