'Rode' in the Bible

As He rode along, people were spreading their coats on the road [as an act of homage before a king].

And Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; just as it is written [in Scripture],

I looked, and behold, a white horse [of victory] whose rider carried a bow; and a crown [of victory] was given to him, and he rode forth conquering and to conquer.
