'Sat' in the Bible

For You have maintained my right and my cause;You have sat on the throne judging righteously.

The Lord sat as King at the flood;Yes, the Lord sits as King forever.

For I have eaten ashes like bread,And have mingled my drink with tears

Some dwelt in darkness and in the deep (deathly) darkness,Prisoners [bound] in misery and chains,

Even though princes sit and talk to one another against me,Your servant meditates on Your statutes.

By the rivers of Babylon,There we [captives] sat down and wept,When we remembered Zion [the city God imprinted on our hearts].
