'Secret' in the Bible

For the devious are repulsive to the Lord;But His private counsel is with the upright [those with spiritual integrity and moral courage].

“Stolen waters (pleasures) are sweet [because they are forbidden];And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.”

A gift in secret subdues anger,And a bribe [hidden] in the pocket, strong wrath.

Argue your case with your neighbor himself [before you go to court];And do not reveal another’s secret,
