'Servants' in the Bible

The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

The descendants of His servants will inherit it,And those who love His name will dwell in it.

They have given the dead bodies of Your servants for food to the birds of the heavens,The flesh of Your godly ones to the beasts of the earth.

Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?”Let there be known among the nations in our sight,Vengeance for the blood of Your servants which has been shed.

Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants;How I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many peoples,

Do return, O Lord; how long will it be?And be sorry for Your servants.

Let Your work appear to Your servantsAnd Your majesty to their children.

Surely Your servants find pleasure in her stonesAnd feel pity for her dust.

“The children of Your servants will continue,And their descendants will be established before You.”

He turned their heart to hate His people,To deal craftily with His servants.

Praise the Lord!Praise, O servants of the Lord,Praise the name of the Lord.

They stand this day according to Your ordinances,For all things are Your servants.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master,As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,So our eyes look to the Lord our God,Until He is gracious to us.
