'Seven' in the Bible
He asked them, “How many loaves [of bread] do you have?” They said, “Seven.”
He directed the people to sit down on the ground; and taking the seven loaves, He gave thanks and broke them, and [repeatedly] gave them to His disciples to set before them, and they served the crowd.
And the people ate and were satisfied; and they picked up seven large baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.
“And [when I broke] the seven [loaves] for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of broken pieces did you pick up?” And they answered, “Seven.”
There were seven brothers; the first [one] took a wife, and died leaving no children.
and so all seven [married her and died, and] left no children. Last of all the woman died also.
In the resurrection, whose wife will she be? For all seven [brothers] were married to her.”
[Now Jesus, having risen [from death] early on the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.
