'Slain' in the Bible

And your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain men before your idols;

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when their slain shall be among their idols, round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick terebinth, the places where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.

And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go forth. And they went forth, and smote in the city.

Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and it is the cauldron; but you will I bring forth out of the midst of it.
