'Something' in the Bible
For people swear by something greater than themselves, and the oath serves as a confirmation to end all dispute.
For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. So this one too had to have something to offer.
For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us.
But if you do not experience discipline, something all sons have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons.
