'Souls' in the Bible
To keep their souls from death; and to keep them living in time of need.
Our souls are waiting for the Lord; he is our help and our salvation.
The Lord will be the saviour of the souls of his servants, and no one who has faith in him will be put to shame.
For our souls are crushed down to the dust: our bodies are stretched out on the earth.
He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
He will redeem their souls from oppression and violence, and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
So He gave them their request,But sent a wasting disease among them.
The sailors go up to heaven, and down into the deep; their souls are wasted because of their trouble.
