'Spoke' in the Bible
For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said,“I love You, O Lord, my strength.”
For He spoke, and it was done;He commanded, and it stood fast.
My heart was hot within me,While I was musing the fire burned; Then I spoke with my tongue:
Which my lips utteredAnd my mouth spoke when I was in distress.
Then they spoke against God;They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?
He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; They kept His testimoniesAnd the statute that He gave them.
He spoke, and there came a swarm of fliesAnd gnats in all their territory.
He spoke, and locusts came,And young locusts, even without number,
Because they were rebellious against His Spirit,He spoke rashly with his lips.
For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind,Which lifted up the waves of the sea.
