'Steps' in the Bible
You widen a place beneath me for my steps, and my ankles do not give way.
A man’s steps are established by the Lord, and He takes pleasure in his way.
The instruction of his God is in his heart;his steps do not falter.
He brought me up from a desolate pit,out of the muddy clay, and set my feet on a rock, making my steps secure.
Our hearts have not turned back;our steps have not strayed from Your path.
They stir up strife, they lurk;they watch my stepswhile they wait to take my life.
They prepared a net for my steps;I was despondent. They dug a pit ahead of me,but they fell into it!Selah
But as for me, my feet almost slipped;my steps nearly went astray.
Righteousness will go before Himto prepare the way for His steps.
I thought about my waysand turned my steps back to Your decrees.
Make my steps steady through Your promise;don’t let any sin dominate me.
