'Stretched' in the Bible

This is the plan preparedfor the whole earth,and this is the hand stretched outagainst all the nations.

He stretched out His hand over the sea;He made kingdoms tremble.The Lord has commandedthat the Canaanite fortresses be destroyed.

This is what God, Yahweh, says—who created the heavens and stretched them out,who spread out the earth and what comes from it,who gives breath to the people on itand life to those who walk on it—

This is what the Lord, your Redeemer who formed you from the womb, says:I am Yahweh, who made everything;who stretched out the heavens by Myself;who alone spread out the earth;

I made the earth,and created man on it.It was My hands that stretched out the heavens,and I commanded all their host.

But you have forgotten the Lord, your Maker,who stretched out the heavensand laid the foundations of the earth.You are in constant dread all day longbecause of the fury of the oppressor,who has set himself to destroy.But where is the fury of the oppressor?

“Enlarge the site of your tent,and let your tent curtains be stretched out;do not hold back;lengthen your ropes,and drive your pegs deep.
