the hangings of the courtyard, its pillars, and its bases; and the screen for the courtyard gate, its tent cords and its {pegs}; and all the equipment of the service of the tabernacle for the tent of assembly,

the hangings at the courtyard, the curtain at the entrance of the courtyard that surrounded the tent, the altar, and all of the tent cords in use.

the pillars around the courtyard, their sockets, pegs, and tent cords.

Is not their tent-cord plucked up within them? They die, and that without wisdom.

Because God has untied my tent cord and afflicted me, people throw off all restraint in my presence.

"Enlarge the site of your tent, and let them stretch out the tent curtains of your dwelling place. You must not spare; make your tent cords long and strengthen your pegs,

My tent is destroyed,
And all my [tent] cords are broken;
My children have been taken from me [as captives] and are no more.
There is no one to stretch out my tent again
And to set up my [tent] curtains.
