'Thought' in the Bible

We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

Their inward thought is, that their houses'shall continue for ever, And their dwelling-places to all generations; They call their lands after their own names.

They search out iniquities; We have accomplished,'say they , a diligent search: And the inward thought and the heart of every one is deep.

When I thought how I might know this, It was too painful for me;

I thought on my ways, And turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.
