'Thwarted' in the Bible
The Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s hand (ability, power) limited (short, inadequate)? You shall see now whether My word will come to pass for you or not.”
“He captures the wise by their own shrewdness,And the advice of the cunning is quickly thwarted.
I know that You can do anythingand no plan of Yours can be thwarted.
Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated. Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted and humiliated.
“Devise a plan, but it will be thwarted;State a proposal, but it will not stand,For God is with us.”
When a man is thwarted in his appeal, does the Lord condone it?
For we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, more than once—and yet Satan hindered us.
