'Torch' in the Bible
When the sun had set and it was dark, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch appeared and passed between the divided animals.
Then he divided the 300 men into three companies and gave each of the men a trumpet in one hand and an empty pitcher with a torch inside it in the other.
So he went out and caught 300 foxes. He took torches, turned the foxes tail-to-tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails.
I will not keep silent because of Zion, and I will not keep still because of Jerusalem, until her righteousness shines like a bright lightand her salvation, like a flaming torch.
On that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves; they will consume all the peoples around them on the right and the left, while Jerusalem continues to be inhabited on its site, in Jerusalem.
